Ana Márquez

Her writings have been published in national and international newspapers, magazines, journals and anthologies such as “Periódico de Poesía”, under the direction of poet, translator and scholar Pedro Serrano; “La Jornada Semanal”, cultural section of the daily newspaper “La Jornada”, at the time directed by celebrated writer Juan Villoro, and “Región sin Dónde”, anthology edited in Spain by poet, editor and cultural promoter Uberto Stabile.

“Blasfemias”, her first poetry dossier, was awarded with a Nuevo Leon’s State honorific mention and her feature, about the controversial disappearance of the printed book in the newborn digital era, won a Journalism National Award of Young Journalism in 1996.
